Democrats were used! Gaetz did the math to remove using the Democrats. Of course, I don't think the Democrats will be happy with the replacement that will be less pussilanimous than McCarthy. It's gonna get radical! Although, we might get a born-again McCarthy who sees the light.
Democrats in the House showed the nation once again that they are far more cohesive than their Republican peers.

I wrote this almost immediately after the vote. I didn't think House Democrats were that stupid, but obviously I was wrong. If they didn't like McCarthy, wait until they get the new guy in which their vote won't matter.
