Demons?

Then Jesus[b] asked him, “What is your. name?” He replied, “My name is Legion, for we are many.” He begged him earnestly not to send them out of the region.

- Gospel of Mark 5:9-10, NRSV

I am not sure how many demons would be considered a legion, but a legion of Roman soldiers was way more than five thousand. Everyone loves hearing about Jesus casting out the money changers from the temple, but I think casting out a legion of demons is a much bigger deal, not even comparable. Of course, many people today love to believe in angels, but seem to ignore their counterparts. I wonder why?

Their vision

“small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism”

Sure, Khrushchev probably never said the foregoing publicly, but he very likely said it privately. Of course, the Soviet Union is long gone, and Russia has more capitalism than us, most likely. What Khrushchev said obviously was carried out by the the vision of those during the 1917 revolution before Khrushchev and continues to be propagated until today by those with that ideology. Bottomline, they never backed down and continued the agenda on a global scale, and the initial statement on here is very close to becoming a reality under a different name.

In defense of Hunter

The best defense I have heard for Hunter Biden is that he is a recovering addict. Unfortunately, crimes committed while under the influence are still crimes. Nevertheless, I wouldn't have him indicted and sentenced during this administration because "the big guy" will end up pardoning him.

Outcasts?

I used to think that the way people behaved or acted was based on an assumption that they are supposed to do so based on their observations of TV sitcoms, commercials, and what they see in media in general. In other words, they don't normally act according to their own independent thought. I still think this is the case, although I also believe that media knows they have that much power over people and they have figured out a way to control the narrative for desired outcomes in society. Is this problematic?

The problem is those same people who behave like sheep, often believe anyone who thinks different from them is controversial, to say the least. Moreover, in a radical leftist communist society they will sometimes lock-up a free thinker who doesn't believe in their ideology,  although attempts to brainwash are rampant. Here in the supposed free world, however, some might go as far as bakeracting people to ridicule or ostracize. Always be cautious of the herd anywhere, if one thinks differently. Dissident is a good label to have when the government one is under is considered a dictatorship by most, but what about when a government is lukewarm on the fence? It's difficult to know where one stands when ideology fluctuates in a subtle manner.

Regardless of what history has taught us, people continue to be labeled outcasts. We know that the masses can be wrong; hence, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union...etc. The dissidents in both of these societies were a minority. Dissidents anywhere are always the minority, and a very small one at that. The question remains with relevance to outcasts, why are they really labeled as such?

Taxpayers paying their salaries

Yes, it is true that taxpayers were paying the salaries of these congressmen while they debated for four days before nominating the Speaker of the House. And, yes, taxpayers are also paying their salaries while they don't work for six weeks during the summer. They also have other holiday breaks while still being paid. Just saying!

On Ratzinger

Ratzinger was a great theologian. Pick up one of his books one of these days and try to prove me wrong. He was also a good Pope. May he rest in peace! Papa Che Panchito? I don't know, jury is still out. I am done here. Beware of those demons lurking.
