Sadly, and I mean very sad, the whole Weekend at Bernie's metaphor which many were using with relevance to the Biden Administration appears to be more literal each day that passes by. I recommend watching the film if you don't understand. I don't want to spoil it, but the plot is basically about a couple of guys that play along and pretend about something in order to continue enjoying a big bash there boss was throwing at his beach house.
