It's interesting thing to hear and watch new immigrants who want to immediately be in an equal economic status as citizens who were born or were naturalized many years prior. Message to them: it doesn't work that way, unless you brought the status (money) with you. Basically, it's going to take some time (maybe many years), and they're in for a rough ride.
