It's sad how many Hispanics in the United States are fascinated with the Spanish language and try to disrespectfully speak it around others who only speak English, or one language. Even more sad is the fact that many barely speak the language well, including guys on television like Jorge Ramos. Of course, I don't waste my time watching him...lol. I suppose what I am trying to say is that if they were welcomed here with arms wide open, they should show a little more respect. Moreover, I encourage them to learn English and practice it. At least speak one language well! Furthermore, I am not against deportation. Let's allow more Ukrainians in our country who need the help more urgently, instead.

I have nothing against Spanish. It is a great language, but try to speak it correctly, if you will be using it among others who speak it. However, I am against disrespectful use.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, Spanish is my first language. Us Cubans love to speak colloquially among each other, but that's not what I am talking about. I am referring to a complete massacre of the language.
