On the American memory

Based on experience and hundreds of conversations, I have arrived at the conclusion that many people in the United States seem to have bad memories. I don't really know why this could be. Perhaps many prefer not to remember, or they simply cannot. This isn't really what I feel in other countries, and it doesn't seem to be the case.
