The inverted flag

When someone more brilliant than I is already flying the flag inverted, it causes me to start becoming gravely concerned. I know that I am witnessing many, many, unprecedented things. 

Sources of motivation?

Apparently, many people are motivated to do things for popularity and respect...wow, fascinating. Government (mostly on all levels), however, does things for personal gain, which often resembles money laundering. Neither is good in my view. Let us ponder that.

Are we near?

I am more concerned about the people in power who are funding proxy wars with borrowed money we don't have (and what we do have is just printed out of nothing with nothing to back it) than I am about the price of gas. Taxes are just a big lie to make you feel you contribute something. And I am also more concerned about that lie than the price of gas, although it is also another tax. If we can spend more than what we make, what we make obviously has no value, unless spending was automatically capped at the total income threshold. Personally, I'll just stay home, if we ever run out of gas, or if it becomes unaffordable.

Bottomline: the U. S. and  Western Civilization are very near collapse, but when it does actually happen it will still probably catch everyone by surprise. 

We are unaware

Americans don't understand what the attacker is capable of.... That's our problem. We've been on top a very brief period, but ignorantly we seem to think it's much longer.

On diplomas

I obtained two graduate degrees in which I couldn't attend the graduation. I actually got my diploma afterwards. My message to anyone attending a graduation to rip their diploma publicly is basically a question. How did you even manage to get a diploma while being so stupid?

Ambitious immigration

It's interesting thing to hear and watch new immigrants who want to immediately be in an equal economic status as citizens who were born or were naturalized many years prior. Message to them: it doesn't work that way, unless you brought the status (money) with you. Basically, it's going to take some time (maybe many years), and they're in for a rough ride.
