Conflict of interest

Conflict of interest is a situation in which a person is in a position to derive or receive personal benefit from actions or decisions made while in their official capacity.

Four senators running for president get to vote on impeachment of their real opponent in the presidential race. The foregoing scenario is a real conflict of interest. Moreover, this is real unlike the hoax of saying the president asked to investigate his political opponent since in reality Biden has not been nominated by the DNC to be the opponent. Trump is the opponent for them all, but not vice versa. As it is currently, it looks like Bernie Sanders will be the opponent based on polls. We will know better after Iowa, perhaps.

Avoiding earthquakes and hurricanes.

If we want to avoid things like earthquakes, hurricanes, and acts of God, sooner or later we will have to build and live in antigravity technology floating buildings. We can always come down to the planet's surface for fun stuff like mountain climbing or the beach, but we must reside and live off. Of course, first we have to invent the technology. Lol.

Bolton, the witness...lol?

Bolton, the war mongering swamp dweller, just wrote an all tell book to make money like in the wars. Suddenly he is a potential witness...lol. Will they decide to call witnesses? I wouldn't open that can of worms because the entire D.C. swamp will be exposed sooner or later, regardless of how much Jeff Zucker tries to cover them up.

Can you see what's going on?

No idea what the DNC will do since obviously Bernie is going to be in the lead. Will they nominate him, or do similarly to 2016? I don't see how long Biden can be used as the main political opponent, even if one just wants to justify impeachment based on the Ukranian phone call. Of course, the hypocrisy is that it is okay for the FBI, Hillary, Obama, and the FISA Court to investigate Trump before and after the election, but it's not okay if Trump wanted to investigate Biden who isn't his true opponent until the DNC nominates him.

I am certain I understand what's going on, do you?

Build your house on the rock!

Years ago I wrote a song titled The Fact. The chorus said: build your house on the sand and you will sink, build your house on the rock and firmly you will stand. Basically, it was inspired by the following text from Matthew 7: 24-27.

24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. 25 The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its fall!”

Not trusting the ballot box?

Not trusting the ballot box was never something indicated in the Mueller report in any way shape or form. Translation: anyone, including Schiff, saying otherwise is lying to whomever has ears to hear. Moreover, a phone conversation with someone in the Ukraine that was never relevant to the ballot box or election results, is still not relevant to who won or didn't win the election, regardless of how upset one may be about the results.

Lies and truths

One can write down, scream and shout a lie, and it will still always be a lie. On the other hand, one can silence the truth and even kill the person saying the truth, and it will still always be the truth.

Didn't need it?

When you figure out you didn't need what you thought you needed, it's too late because you probably already used up a whole lot of the stuff you didn't need.

Are people really so smart these days?

The problem with many people these days is that they think they are smarter than what they actually are. Lord knows social media doesn't help the problem in any way. For instance, I have been told I have Dunning Kruger Effect by people who probably have Dunning Kruger Effect. As they say in Cuba, "no es facil."

Martyrdom?

Whether we like it or not, or care, life happens to us at the same time as others, and we sometimes have very little control over what happens and how it happens. All we can often do is hope for the best for all. Martyrdom might be a choice, but one should question if it is worth it.
